Hello everyone, have been reading all the great forum info, and decided to join in. You have a great site here! I can't wait to post my own pics someday soon!
I've wanted a Vette for years, and am finally shopping for one. Torn though between looking for a chrome bumper C3 or a Victory Red C5. Guess I can't go wrong either way, huh?!? LOL. Any advice/opinions out there? Did I mention... gotta be a convertible!
Wish there was a local Corvette club, closest one is in Charlotte.
Looking forward to the journey...

Welcome to the forum. I too am from SC and have really enjoyed this forum. The Metrolina club out of Charlotte is a good group of folks and they take cruises offten. There is also a Cross Flags corvette club out of Spartanburg as well. If your looking for a real nice C5, I'm selling a 2002 Red C5 Z06 with 20K miles in Anderson SC. If your going for driving, comfort, gas mileage, and fun, get a C5. If your going for cruise ins and car shows then go for the chrome bumpers. A C5 gets close to and sometimes over 30mpg on the interstate. Best of luck in your search
