Default Buying a corvette

Hi, my name is Jeff and I have always wanted to buy a corvette and now have the funds to do so. I'm interested in the yrs 76-82, but have no idea what I should be looking for when buying. Was wondering if someone would be willing to give me some advice. My price range is between $10,000- $15,000. Would like to buy for an investment, but not sure what is good and what is bad.

You should be able to get a nice one for the ball park range you are in.

DO NOT BUY AS INVESTMENT in your situation and models you are considering........anniversary/pace car probably best bet...
