Default Ford guy converted to Chevy

Hello everyone,

I just bought an 05 C6 convertible with 14k. I had to get rid of what I thought previously to be a pretty cool car. I know now that I was mistaken . I am now thoroughly in extreme like of the new Chevy . Here are some pictures of old bird and new toy.

Welcome to the forum!! Those are some sweet rides you have there. Where were those pics taken? That really looks serene.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the 05 Corvette Vert. I must admit that I like the Corvette much better than the T-Bird.

Welcome aboard.

Is it that you decided to combine the 2, the t-bird and bike, into one high performance machine? Super cool vette!

Congrats on the 05 vert!! You will be driving around for quite a while with a big "corvette grin" on your face! Welcome to the Forum. They are great for learning more about vettes and you will meet a lot of new friends.

I have to agree that I love the vette more than the t-bird myself . I just didn't know what I was missing when I had the bird. I now know that it was about 155hp. I still have the bike, but it has sat in the garage all weekend due to the new car . The pictures are from here in NM.

I took her to the drag strip last night and ran a 13.97 at 5250 above sea level. I was extremely impressed that it is only about 2s slower than the bike. All of that speed and great gas mileage. I can now start modding the car and see where I end up. I only need a few mods, but the first investment will be a radar detector (valentine one). It just doesn't seem to understand speed limits .

Sweet ride. The bird is no slouch either.
