Hello all. I purchased a '78 L48 and am obviously very excited about the whole deal. I've always wanted a 1978 from the moment I saw the first one. It was the year I graduated from high school so if you do the math you'll notice that I am in a full blown "middle age crazy" mode. I will make no apologies for that aspect of my purchase. I've busted my **** for a lot of years and can finally afford some toys.
I look forward to your input and help. I'm probably not a good enough wrench turner to own this car but its a little late now !
Congrats on the 78 vette, stumpgrinder!! You will be driving around for quite a while with a big "corvette grin" on your face! Welcome to the Forum. They are great for learning more about vettes and you will meet a lot of new friends.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the car from a fellow Texan!
Check into a local Corvette Club. There are usually a lot of good gear head members that are happy to share their wisdom. If you can't find one, pm me and I'll give you some choices.
