Teach me the ways
After seeing the diverse crowd of other car guys on ls2gto.com I decided to expand my horizons to another site. Seeing as how I've always wanted a C5, I thought that this would be a good site to learn more about my dream car (that I could have had used for the same price as my GTO... go ahead, flame away 
I regret it too!)
The 1/4 mile times to hp ratio here is amazing... I'm used to guys talking about 550- 600 hp turning low 12s vs 11s here... As you know, the GTO is a pig with skinny tires (I've heard of one guy modding to get 315s to fit, but it is hardly cost effective). It's a cool car for what it is, but hopefully within the next 5 years I'll be able to wrap my *ss in fiberglass. I have realized one truth with my current car. You cannot take a Terminator in it... Period. Someday I'll have my C5 with an LSX block and an F1 Procharger. She'll be called the "Snakecharmer." But alas, wishful thinking for now. Now is the time to learn everything I can about the C5 and prepare for a build in the future.
