help with matching numbers
My husband recently inherited a 57 . I am trying to find out if the engine is original. I have gotten a couple of numbers off the block.The first number came off in the front left hand side( if you looking at the car from the front)The second number is located torwards the rear of the engine on the right side. None of the numbers have the vin located near them.I am new at all this so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ericka
