1st corvette
hey everyone 
I am new here, and am about to purchase a '73 white on white convertible. (l48 auto due to the wife's "input") Glad there is a source of information available as I have alot to learn...I hope to put heads, cam, intake and timing chain on (IN?) it after cosmetics are done...probably go with the edelbrock package unless anyone has a better cam choice to recommend...more show than go is my purpose; I want it to hit a lick at idle but not move the power band up too high....any input from experience would be appreciated!

Welcome to the CF and congratulations on the C3 1973 was a unique year as the front was the poly urethane bumper and the rear was the split chrome bumper. If it is a concern then stay with Edelbrock as they sell the entire package, cam, heads, intake and carb. The only thing I wouldn't get is Edelbrock's headers, I would stick with Hooker Super Comps.
