1st Vette, from KY
My name's Matt and I picked up my first Corvette last week. It is a 99 coupe with a manual tranny.
I have a lot of background with the LS engine with f-bodies, but I wanted the weight advantage of the Corvette without having to strip a perfectly good car.
I have a lot of plans for it and have already purchased an LS6 to go in it and I have put in hardened pushrods, dual valve springs, LS2 timing chain, Vengeance Racing Vindicator cam, LS6 intake manifold, 60# Mototron injectors and some other goodies.
Also on the way are a Racetronix fuel system, Ram lvl 4 clutch, LT headers and x-pipe and a few other items.
I will also be spraying the car with a custom two stage setup. One dry and one wet.
A lot of my friends recently picked up 03-04 Cobras and I'm planning on laying the smack down on them GM style.
