Hi Everyone... I’m new to "The Corvette Forum” and looking forward to reading all the posts. Lately I’ve been trying to figure out why I’ve been depressed over the past three years. I finally realized that I’m depressed because I sold my 1992 Corvette. I owned this Corvette starting June 1992. Even though I only drove it occasionally, (but polished it often) and it had only 17,000 miles on it when I sold it, I’m so sorry that I sold it. I thought I just didn’t need it because I didn’t drive it much but I did need it just because it was my Corvette and part of me .. Americas true sports car.
I’m getting ready to purchase a new Corvette. Can anyone tell me what percent is the average discount from the MRSP bottom line?
I’m been looking at some of the dealers on this forum, and some of the (Great American Machines) are listed at around 10 + % off sticker. Are they for real? My local dealer thinks his Corvette has gold tipped tail pipes and is trying to keep the price near sticker.

Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately, there is no "standard discont", it varies from dealer to dealer. If I were you, I would contact several dealers and get a bid on the car. Be sure to contact the forum dealers also.
Good luck!
Welcome aboard. If I was in your shoes I would consider a National Corvette Museum Delivery of my new Corvette. This means it really doesn't matter where you buy the Corvette as it will be delivered at the NCM. Then if you decide you want the NCM Delivery you can shop with the many CF Supporting Dealers and know that you are getting the best price around. Just a suggestion.
Aloha and welcome to the CF, right now the best deals are with the forum dealers, as was mentioned you should look at a museum delivery. That is my dream to order a ZO6 with a museum delivery and then tour our great lands with it before shipping it to Hawaii. Good luck on your purchase.
From what I can see the 10%+ you mentioned is bang on. Kerbeck in Atlantic City NJ is $6K +. Other dealers on the internet are now advertising Supplier Pricing. Bought mine in June 07. Wish I had been a fortune teller, great pricing is available.

Welcome to the “Corvette Jungle” , where the Vette owners are always restless! Congratulations on your getting a new Corvette! When it arrives, drive America’s only “Exotic Muscle Sports Car Icon”, enjoy the fun, thrills and excitement. Feel the Vette V-8 power as often as possible, laugh and sing …I do, and I have the ”Corvette Smile” all the time. There is never enough Vette V-8 power driving time. I wish you many miles of “Corvette Smiles” with your new ride.
