I just drove my new '94 convertible home yesterday from its previous servant's house. A nine hundred mile drive and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face!
I have a number of things that I need to fix/correct/repair on the vehicle, which I start to tackle today - headlights first! The car isn't perfect, but ... the car is perfect!
I need a picture -- the car is missing the emblem that was on the center console. All I have there is glue and a hole. Can someone send me a picture of it? Also, does anyone know a source for a replacement?
Oh, and I've been lurking on this board for a while as I impatiently looked for a Corvette -- great group and great resource. Hope I can contribute.
Congrats on the '94 Vert! Just a suggestion --- you may want to post specific questions about your car in the C4 Section. You'll probably receive help faster and get more complete answers to questions you have about your Vette.
Aloha Pete and welcome to the CF, glad to see that you came out of the closet and posted now we need to see some pictures of your baby. And as my friend Traindude stated post those tech questions in the C4 section.

A Big “HELLO” from Forest Hill, Maryland.
Welcome to the “Corvette Jungle” , where the Vette owners are always restless! Congratulations on your beautiful new Corvette! Now drive America’s only “Exotic Muscle Sports Car Icon”, enjoy the fun, thrills and excitement. Feel the Vette V-8 power as often as possible, laugh and sing …I do, and I have the ”Corvette Smile” all the time. There is never enough Vette V-8 power driving time. I wish you many miles of “Corvette Smiles” with your stunning new ride.
It's good to be here. I took both headlight assemblies out of the car and dismantled the gearcase. Found two problems. First, as expected, the gears were fine but the "bushings", or whatever they are called, were nothing but a fine powder. Second, also as expected, the headlights were glass. I have the bearings and lightweight plastic headlights on order.
With my hands filthy, my knuckles bruised and my clothes disreputable, I emerged from the garage triumphant. It felt wonderful to be working on a Corvette again! This is my fourth.
