It started with a HO racing set in 63. Came witha split window coupe and XKE Jaguar. Fast forward to 1974. Boss let me run errands in his 74 454 Vette. Took a turn at a T intersection way too fast. ThoughtI was going to meet my maker, but that car made the turn like none I'd ever driven. I was hooked.
Fast forward to 1985. Dissapproved for my first mortgage application for insufficient down payment. Bought a new 1985 Vette instead. That car was so cool with the electronic dashboard. Two years later I bought a new 87 Vette a few months before I got married. I knew it wouild be harder to get a new Vette after I married.
When my son was born 3 years later, we went for a ride the day he came home from the hospital. I wanted him to have the same passion I have for Vettes. 2 years later I sold the 87 due to pressure from the wife. A sad day indeed...
Fast forward to summer 2007, driving a 350Z(great value for the price), but started looking at Vettes. It seemed that year end prices were pretty good, but when the 2008 came out it was too hard not to focus on the extra 30 ponies for the same base price. I watched the Conti prices and could not believe it when he offered 08's for $39,995. My problem was that I could not swing this deal unless I got a really good trade in price on my 350Z.
Then amazing things started happening...a neighbor offered toby my car and a local dealer agreed to match Conti pricing WITHOUT THE DOC FEE. $40K OUT THE DOOR. I couldn't pass this incredible bargain up...

A Big “HELLO” from Forest Hill, Maryland.
Welcome to the “Corvette Jungle” , where the Vette owners are always restless! Congratulations on your beautiful new Corvette! Now drive America’s only “Exotic Muscle Sports Car Icon”, enjoy the fun, thrills and excitement. Feel the Vette V-8 power as often as possible, laugh and sing …I do, and I have the ”Corvette Smile” all the time. There is never enough Vette V-8 power driving time. I wish you many miles of “Corvette Smiles” with your stunning new ride.
