Nice to meet you all. Sorry I didn't officially introduce myself earlier. I was so impressed by CF and had a question to start with immediately that I just jumped right in with another thread.
Became a Corvette owner in Oct. 07 after looking and researching for a yr and a half and wanting one for 30 yrs. Adopted a 50th AE; not too bad for my 1st vette I figure. It was definately worth waiting for. I now know I will always have at least one vette in my life. I still giggle with pure joy everytime I drive it
I thought the purchase of one would reduce the "fever" (ha). But noooo, I now find it continues on with "mod fever". Oh well, there are a lot worse "conditions" one could have. At least it's better than spending money on collecting something like beanie babies or some other non sense. Think I'll start collecting Corvettes
Anyway, it's good to be here. Hope to meet some of you at the picnic on May 3
Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I'm new myself but I can already tell you that this is one great forum. After reading your biography I think your a lady with your priorities in the right order. Enjoy your Vette!

Hi there Smooth Op.,
How nice of you to say that! Thanks for the warm welcome too. You must be a nice gentleman. It's always refreshing to meet a nice guy (not all men are alike in my book). I'm assuming your user name here doesn't describe your character 100%.
Thanks again for the compliment. I look forward to both having fun and learning a lot about my vette here on CF.
