I live in Monterey, Calif and recently found a two owner 64 coupe white/red interior. 327/300 with 4 sp. and Posi. No PB, PW, PS, AC, Tinted windows, BU Lights. Unmolested, never hit, never been modified, had a cosmetic redo on paint and interior in 1982. First owner now deceased bought new at local So Cal dealer and sold to second owner in 1981 with 125K miles. Second owner drove until 1992 had 133K miles on it when he stored it. Drove it sparingly to keep things rolling. Second owner was in No Calif as I am. I have done little things like cashnge light bulbs, clean, wax, etc. It will be a Sunday driver. Brakes are from mid 70's redo and were done at 85K so I will get these looked at soon. Car is matching number and so far all date codes have checked out. I am 62 and I have had a lot of old Porsches and this was my dream car since college days. I found it on SF Craigs List. Second owner is in 70's and because of health reasons he was selling. He and I email regularly. He lost some time ago all original owners name,docs.,etc. Sad. He is as sick as I am on this. Looking forward to a lot of help from the forum experts. So far, you all have been GREAT!!
