I've been a member of this forum since 2002 and have enjoyed my 1985 vette for a couple years longer. I've found the forum a great source of info over the years when ocassionally browsing, but have never really posted anything before.
I'm looking to get into an older vette now, I have my heart set on a '58 and have posted in the for/sale wanted section so hope something comes up.
We have a Corvette club in my home town of Geelong Victoria Australia which I am very involved with. We have a website www.corvettesofgeelong.com if anyone wants to take a look. Most of our cars are converted to Right Hand Drive, but we can get away with driving the older ones without hacking into them!
Happy Vetteing!

You aren't a newby in terms of time but you certainly are in terms of posting. Good luck in your search for the '58, it is a unique year. Spend some time on the Forum, participating and posting is more fun than not.

Thanks all.
I've had a few responses to my wanted ad.
So I'm following those up along with a few other leads, so hope to get onto the right car soon.
I'm sure I will have plenty of postings when I finally do find one.
Denis.
PS. I thought it's about time I put an avatar up. I was busy photoshopping, but photo is of my '85 in foreground taken a week ago and in the background you can see the back of my car, photo taken at GM's Lang Lang proving ground in Melbourne Australia during the Australian National Corvette Convention, Easter 2004, a record number of over 250 Corvettes attended.
