I have not bought anything just yet, but before I do I need some advice. I am pretty tall guy (6-5), and I went to a dealership to try to sit in one, but my head hit the plastic cover that fits over the roll bar. If I move the seat up, than my legs feel crunched. I am afraid that the dream of owning a corvette may always be just a dream.
I am a little surprised too, because I own a G35 coupe and I fit in it. It is a little tight, but way better than the vette. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.
I did notice people suggesting to the taller people to get the conv., but I am afraid there would be too much nose. I would love to be able to fit in a hardtop. (Z06 preferably)
Welcome to the forum.. What year vette were you looking at?? Sounds like it did not have the power seat rail option, which gives you an up - down feature..
I'm 6'3" and just purchased a C6 targa top and don't have much trouble once in the car and the seat is adjusted correctly. When I was at the dealer and didn't move the seat around much, it was a much tighter, more uncomfortable fit. Maybe playing around with the power seat a bit more might help?
Welcome aboard. I think there are a few C6 owners that are you height or taller as I recall. You might want to post this question in the C6 General Section.
Its was a 04 vette, and I believe that it did have the power seat options. I may not have played around with it enough. Didn't think that it would drop far enough to give me head room I guess. It was at a carmax here in Nashville. I would love to get a C6, but I really dont think that I could afford it.
