Hi:
I just found out about your site while reading through Corvette Fever.
I have a 77 and 03 50th Anniv.
I have kept many years of these magazines and use them often when I work on the 77. I have done a lot of work to it over the years.
I am having a problem and perhaps one of you can help me.
I don't have any dash lights, no tail lights, or parking lights. Everything else works. Brake lights, signals and headlights work fine.
I have found a brown wire that is under the dash and may go up to the light switch and then goes through the firewall and on to the front left side of the car to the parking lights. The wire looks like it has been hot and is melted.
In looking at wiring harness's in the different vendors, I see they have a lighting harness but it looks like it goes to the firewall and plugs in. How about the one wire that is bad under the dash.
Could I somehow get this fixed without installing a complete wiring harness as it dosn't look like something I look forward to doing?
