Hello everybody. I just purchased my first Corvette as a combination birthday/college graduation present. It's a base model coupe in Atomic Orange, and I couldn't be happier! I traded in my 05 GTO for the purchase and got reamed, as all trades do, but sometimes you just have say "screw it" and go for it. Anyway, I'm very familiar with this type of forum, so I'll be searching around looking for answers to the questions I have today, and if I can't find them, I'll be back to ask.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As expected, I found answers to my questions very quickly, so now its time to buy the Z06 oil cooler parts, disable the skip shift with the resistor from Radio Shack (if I can find the leftovers from my GTO), start running some reasonable weight oil (as I did with the LS2 in the GTO), and get a proper aftermarket shifter (again, like the GTO).
