First Time 'Vette Owner (Well Sorta!)

First Time 'Vette Owner (Well Sorta!)
It is actually my dad's, but since he is not a computer guy, I am going to take advantage of that and act like its my corvette.
He bought a 2004 Silverado 2500 HD, Duramax Diesel, all the bells and whistles brand new in 2004, and on April 25, 2008 he decided it was time for a change. Mind you the truck only had 28,604 miles on it.
We found a 2004 Corvette Coupe with 3,015 miles on it, nothing fancy about it other than...well hey..it's a Corvette and its is his first one.
While I miss the truck and and we couldn't get near a 'perfect deal' from the dealer...(I mean really who can
) we got him his first Vette.
He is 58 and in line for a liver transplant...and personally I have never seen him happier, except for when I try to ****** the keys
I am going through college right now, so soon I will be 'Workin for my own Vette," but I thought I would write out an intro post after posting around a bit on the C5 forums.
As far as mods for the car, performance wise there probably won't be any, gotta get rid of the stock air filter though. We have done some appearance add ons and that is about it so far.
I think he found him a nice cruiser and we are actually taking it on a mini road trip this weekend.

First off thanks to everyone for the kind and warm welcome!
He actually has an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic today, if all goes well he will be officially put on the list (he has already been accepted) and best case scenario he would have a transplant in two months.
