I ve been posting on here for a few weeks and enjoying everyone's responses to my questions. I figured it was about time I at least introduced myself. My name is Bill, from VIrginia. I have been infatuated with corvettes since the late 50',early 60's but have never had one.
I went with my wife to Las Vegas recently and while she was in meeting, I went to hertz and rented one for the day. I took it across HOver Damn, into the desert, down main street Las Vegas. Its a feeling
that you just cant forget. I hope to own one shortly but, in the meantime ,I do appreciate everyones help and information.
I will have to say when I was driving in Las Vegas I felt so much torque that it seemed like the rear end wanted to come around sometimes. When you rent these things, Hertz assumes yo know how to drive them but, who knows, I was pushing buttons and maybe had all the TC- AH off. Which I would have been CF before renting.
Also, it isn't required but it would be nice if you filled in your profile so folks will know a little about you and ultimately your car. It helps when answering your questions in the future and it's just friendlier. Thanks for your consideration.
Hi Bill !
and welcome to the forum What are you waiting for order the car of your dreams now , you will be asking yourself for a long time after "what was I waiting for"
