Just got my first Vette. Couldn't be more proud. Ia m 47 y/o, but swear that when I get out of the cockpit and start to walk away (turning around to get another glance), I feel 17 y/o all over again! I will spend a lot of my time on the C3 forum. So, please check out some of my threads to guide me in the right direction...if you will. As I have many questions. Thanks!!
Thank you for all the kind words. I have wanted a '73 for a long time. I (as my wife will surely attest) am a bit unique. And so is the '73. So it was natural selection. I love forums for the quest of knowledge and comparison, There is never a loss for opinion, or a push in the right (most of the time) direction on forums. I am a Gun Dealer as well (legal of course) and firearms forums are pretty similar I am finding. I love it. In these times of near dispair in this country with things the way they are, it's nice to be able to talk about passion. Of course there's politics on here. But I am so thrilled to finally have my Vette, and a place to talk with other vette nuts.
My first question. Exactly, what is a "Vert?" BTW, snowman...I'm in Grand Haven, MI. "Coast Guard City U.S.A."
Thanks again all
Good Morning and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on the 73. We all would love to see some more pictures of your car. I too have owned a C3 and sure wish I had it back. To answer your question a "vert" is short for a convertible. Enjoy that car, Donn in Colorado.
