Hello:
Just joined the board, currently considering the purchase of a 2004 Z16 Z06. I have been researching the market for the last week or so, but have wanted one of these beautiful cars since I first laid eyes on one.
I would appreciate any advice on buying one of the C5 Commemorative Edition Z06 cars - what to look for in a used one, what to watch out for and what I should pay for one. I'm seeing prices all over the board, but seems to be averaging around $36K - $38K. I'm looking for an un-modified, low mileage, one owner car, non-smoker.
Right now I am on my second 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge. It is a true numbers matching car, 455 H.O., 4-speed, 3.31:1 posi, loaded with options. It has all of its original sheet metal, one repaint and original interior. Show winner and a blast to drive.
I also have a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT with the L76 engine, rear wheel drive, 6 speed automatic. It is Ignition Orange Metallic. Love it as a daily driver. Very fast and fun to drive.
