Room for one more?
Hi there. I discovered "forums" a couple of years ago when I found one that related to one of my other cars. Then, one day I thought just maybe there was a Corvette forum. Oh yes there is and I'm so happy to be here.
In July, 1999, I ordered a new C5 convertible. (My wifes idea!!) It is a Torch red car with torch red interior and a white top. I ordered it with every option Chevrolet offered for 2000. Picked it up just before Christmas. What a present that was.
Earlier this year we ended up needing another car and were not able to order and wait. We looked at a LOT of different makes and models. Then we stopped by a Chevrolet dealer and fell in love with a Velocity Yellow C6 coupe. It has nav, dual mode exhaust, etc. and we now know that All Corvettes are NOT red.
It appears that I will be somewhat conflicted with nice people on the C5 side and over with C6 friends. I'm sure I'll be able to cope.
