My First Vette
Hello everyone, as of Aug 2nd I'm the proud new owner of a 1997 Black MT C5. It has custom red and black sport seats and upgraded chrome five star rims.
It came with a targa top that needed refinishing, but I was able to score a brand new one off ebay for a great price. The old one is still here waiting to be refinished, which I'll probably do eventually and put up for sale.
It's currently in the shop getting inspected, new front pads and rotors, four General Exclaim UHPs and an adjusted parking brake cable. Also, I should mention, I picked up a brand new Z06 Ti exhaust off Craigslist yesterday for $200
which I'm dropping off tomorrow to have them put on while its on the lift.
When it gets back I have a delrin C5-R shift **** and a driver's side hatch release motor waiting to be put in.
So there ya go! I'm really excited to get the car back and out there to enjoy some of this great weather here in Upstate NY...
