hello all,
just sold my '03 cobra several months ago and decided to pick myself up a corvette. just bought it last week. silver '05 c6 coupe, 6-speed manual. great car, leaps and bounds past what my cobra was (even though it was faster, but i had a lot more money in it in mods). car has corsa catback, pioneer xxx-6000dvd head unit, and ruff racing r281 19/20 wheel combo. just bought my credits for hp tuners last night and removed the CAGS, maxed out the torque management, and calmed the knock sensors down just a tad. all in all, i'm extremely happy with my new car and just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Tell us what you didn't like about Your Terminator?
rolling runs must have been strong.
I'm new to the Vette....but have had many experiences in my 02 Ws6 and my twin 04 GTO and 06 GTO. many Terminator experiences.....
fast enough car...and good looking too.
the Vette is the bomb...though especially the Z.
07 Z06 Vette air + K&N CAI , Wires, plugs, stat, ARH or, tune, Ceramic pads, Invos, Mgw Shifter, lowered on stock bolts, hotchkis sway bars
over 500+ rwhp na.
06 GTO M6 Heads, Cam ,Headers, UDP, Ported tb, Fast intake, Magnaflow exhaust, Volant intake. Full suspension. Full brakes, Driveline , 3:91 , 100shot Wet
04 GTO A4 Ls2 heads , cam ,headers, yank 3500 stall, koni's, rear drag springs, tuned. 90mm tb and LS2 intake manifold (ported)
weight reduced, real cold air intake. 70 shot DRY

The car made lots of power, but everything felt cheap. The interior was mostly molded plastic, the seats were sort of comfortable for no longer than an hour, and it was severly lacking in the technology department. No knock sensors for one. If someone managed to put the wrong grade of fuel in, the car would have no idea. It would just run just like normal with the same timing until it popped. The car still had cable throttle, cable clutch, and virtually no ammenities. I dunno, I just feel like the corvette is so much more car for the money. IMO, the corvette is a much nicer car. As far as accelerating in a straight line, they're pretty close, but when it comes to the other things that make driving enjoyable (ie cornering, braking, ride quality), the corvette has the cobra beat hands down. In retrospect though, this might not be a fair comparison to make considering that the cars sticker prices are substantially different.
