Hi.
If you were wondering, my home place is a state in Australia, home of TAZ the Tasmanian devil.
Had just finished a restomod & conversion job on my 81 vette, looking for an answer on why it is missing any chassis # & found your site....as forums go it's simply brilliant!!!!!
My story is that I lost my 25 year one owner "A9X Bathurst edition Torana hatchback" when a welder inexplicably caught fire in my garage. If you want a female to not talk for a week, trying this while they are in the shower nearby definitely works!!!!
Then showed me a picture of a corvette for sale as a doer-upper & I bought it for the parts costs. It's L82 motor is now about 375 hp (under bonnet super charger), B/W t10 four speed, with hurst shifter. Don't know if latter is factory, but looks to be.
Will post details of my problem inthe C3 general forum. Have shown some pictures of the car in my album section, for those interested.

If it is the one in Lunceston, that's where I live. Would have been there no doubt.
If you liked our roads, do a google on "Targa Tasmania". It is a renouned 5 day driving event that takes in a lot of the state. Held each year & attracts about 300 international competitors. Happy to provide a roof over your head if you ever get down here.
P.S. aiming to get a Z06 or ZL1 myself eventually, they are an absolute weapon!!!

I met a guy there and have a pic with him somewhere with his C3...hmmm I should go look and post it. I read about that event and was
