I waited 57 years to finally get the car that I always wanted. My father worked at the Broening highay G.M. Plant in Baltimore. Back in the 50's he would bring home post card aized photos of the new model year cars. In 1956 he showed me the 1957 Corvette. From then on not a Corvette went unnoticed by me, or anyone I was with at the time. I wanted a new one but never quite had the resources to get one. On August 23 2008 I took delivery of a 2008 Atomic Orange Corvette with Z51, 3Lt, Chrome Wheels, CLear top, and Navigation. The only thing it did not have, thst I wanted, was the dual mode exhaust. Has anyone had that added after the fact? After I took delivery, and was sitting in the car with my wonderful wife, who sacrificed some things she wanted in order for me to get this wonderful machine, I cried like a baby. I am sure the people in the lot could see, but I didn't care. This is a dream come true, and the car is a wonderful as I ever imagined. I am a Corvette owner, and am proud to be a member of that fraternity. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Tim
