Hello. I'm a new member and would like to tell you a little about my project. It's a 1957, VIN# 189 that was originally a single 4 barrel car. My plan is to restorod it with C5 drivetrain and running gear. I have sold the frame and currently am deciding which frame company will best suit my needs.
My '99 LS1 is GM crate engine (Corvette, not Camaro) that I bought a few years ago from a guy who deals with GM Surplus. I thought about a supercharger along with other mods, but will most likely keep it natural.
I want to make it for the street and occasional autocross, and mostly just to enjoy old styling with new mechanicals.
Welcome Aboard! My neighbor recently purchased a '57 from someone in Colorado. It hasn't arrived here yet but he is already planning the restoration. Good luck with your '57!
