1982 CrossFire second owner Newbie
I had to retire to be able to get my Vette. I purchased a 1982 Black/Camel this summer. I am the second owner, it has 57k on the odometer and runs like CRAP!!!
It has sat around for many years in a garage and it seems to have every imaginable vacuum leak possible. I am fighting with the idea of leaving it stock and having the engine rebuilt or changing it out for a ZZ4 and new tranny.
I want to leave it stock because of the age, but hate the performance.

Thank you. I hope to have some better news this spring. Winter will hopefully allow me to strip this to the frame and start over with it. Is there any points on the frame I should inspect carefully for rust and damage. The car has been sitting for many years and there is some rusty areas that I need to look into.
Also is there pionts that might want to be reinforced to handle the stress of more HP?
I am not talking fire breathing dragon HP just 350-400 with the juice tranny. I am old not dead!!!!!
