Hello! How did I do?
I have been a long time lurker who was finally able to buy my first Corvette. I was driving down the road when we passed the local Saturn dealership. They had the Sky sitting out front so I pulled over to see the interior. I had no interest in buying just curious at how they looked up close. The wife and I hopped back in my mustang and drove through the lot to the exit. Before leaving I stopped again because I saw two Corvettes. One was Atomic Orange, which is my second favorite color after the Le Mans Blue. Salesman came out and said that the car was $60k. He told us that it belong to the owner of the dealership as did the other Corvette on the lot. It was a black C6 with all the Z06 stuff added on plus a superchager and full exhaust system that had 4000 miles on the clock (asking price was $69K for that one).
Back to mine, the owner of the dealership was selling off some of his personal cars (I am guessing financial troubles because the dealership was in the process of being bought out). The Atomic Orange Corvette had a grand total of 419 miles on the clock but was being sold as a used car.

basically everything but the NPP exhaust
It also has a Rockford Fosgate system installed that the dealer claims to have cost $4k (I think they embellished on the price)
Plus it has a custom installed Passport SRX Radar Detector and Lasar Defense System that costs about $1200 plus install (this is great because all that is visible is the face plate that is mounted above the rearview mirror on the windshield surround)
I said thanks but my car is still good and that price is way more than I would spend. He asked what price I was wiling to pay and I said $45k. Long story short, I got the car for $46K out the door. So what do you think of the price?
