Again, thanks for the welcome, I've been lurking around reading, reading, and more reading since this is my 1st Vette, since I never thought I'd own a Vette, I basically studied 64-66 Chev Trucks and Camaro's for years...so I guess I got A LOT of catching up to do.
Geez, I've been away for over 5 years, Since my last post (I was unemployed) I've been working for 5 yrs, married, adopted 2 children, and sorry to say, my '79 is suffering. It turned 35 this year so no more emission checks, I have a 1979 NC Antique Auto tag on the car now...what's the scariest is...I put a new (rebuilt) speedometer in about 4 yrs ago and it's only got 225 miles since...can't get by with strapping the boys in without a seatbelt violation. *LOL* I'm getting older and so is the Vette... Gotta get more active with the car...work, eat, and sleep...I'm just ranting...sorry! Hi all, it's been a long time!
