Hello,
My stepdad just gave my 17 year old daughter his 90 Coupe. I know I'm jealous too. It's in pretty good shape and runs well. I usually find forums for the cars I own, and since my daughters vehicles are under my care, I figured I'd find one for the Vette. I've been a mechanic for 22 years so I don't usually need mechanical help, but can give educated advise on alot of stuff. I have worked on Corvettes but not with any regularity so I don't have much Vette specific info. It's had several parts replaced lately (injectors,heater core, headlamp motors, etc.) but still needs new window/door rubber and a few cosmetic items. I'd like to replace the Midas looking mufflers with performance mufflers.
Does anyone have experience with the almost $500 rubber kits available on ebay? Good or bad experiences?
