WOW! What a story, Especially the Christmas Gift! Read my Profile...I fell in the same boat. Wife wanted a 1978 & we searched for it...she got it the first week of December for Early Christmas. Been in the garage ever since. Best of Luck & you have come to the right place for great knowledge, help, & just plain good people...

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! I'm amazed and overwhelmed by the resources and knowledge base I've seen on here and a couple other CE and CFI sites. I wish 'Vette tech info was this easy to get back in the early 80's.
All of this has really struck a sentimental nerve in me. I spent this past Sunday in the barn digging through the archives (I'm a MAJOR pack rat). I found some old registrations, dealer service records, pictures, VHS tapes, etc. of my first '82. I'm trying to track down the current owner of this car to see if they'd like copies of this stuff, plus a little first hand history. So far I've located it at 82CEregistry as an E-bay car. I even found a picture of it at www.corvette.pl, a Polish Corvette site. I don't know if it's there or just pictured on the site, so I've got more digging to do. Pretty cool anyway.
Oh, and some video of my honey's reaction on Christmas. Priceless!
