Howdy to all in the forum! Great to be here. Have been a C5 owner since Leap Year day of '08, when I took over the keys to a '98 Carmine Red convertible -- my first 'Vette. I had retired the previous June, and one of the things I'd promised myself (now that kids were through college and all that obligation stuff was over) was that I'd treat myself to a Corvette. What a hoot! Just love the car, and it's a looker (heck, they ALL are!). Only problem is that, here in the mountainous region of southcentral Pennsylvania, so many of the intersections invlove grade changes and I'm constantly scraping the front spoilers no matter how careful I am. So I'm careful where I go.......
Well, anyway, Hello to all from a new member. The forum has been a help already: I just fixed my rocking seats! Curious about the name? My career was Entomology.
Hi Donn, and thank you for the welcome. This seems to be a great community!
If you have any specific suggestions or can point out any threads about slightly raising the front end, I'd appreciate it. I'm new at this, and am not a heavy-duty mechanic. I am having a new set of Michelin Pilot Sports installed -- that might make a little difference. Thanks in advance for any advice you might forward to me.
Cheers!
