Hello! New to this forum and new to the world of Corvettes. I must say that I'm loving it. Been around cars all my life and always wanted a Vette but never had the cash at the time one came up that I wanted. That all changed about two months ago. Just happen to be looking at Auto Trader and there she was. I could tell by her looks that she needed me. After about a month of going back and forth. Not with the owner, with my wife. For once in my life I won the battle and bought her. My very own 2003 Z06. Got her for about 23 grand with the trade in of my hot rod Lincoln. Something that I'm sure every Vette owner feels but, I love this car. I go in my garage at least once a day just to make sure I really own a Vette. Things I now know: I've had fast cars in my life but this is a whole new level. Not big on driving like a nut but I had to give her a run just to see. Wow, I had no idea. Another thing I've noticed. Corvette owners are like their own race of people. I've known car lovers but Corvette owners seem to sweet Corvette from every pore. I am glad to be part of such a great group.
