Am truck driver from Indianapolis, IN. Am about healed from the "over 60 zipper" (open heart surgery to you younger people) and waiting to go back to work the 1st week of March. While spending time alone (wife works) I decided this would be the FIRST and LAST time I would have to get my 1st corvette.
Do not have any money to spend but do have a sweet 48 chevy street rod to trade since I cant seem to sell it. Tough times for for everyone now....
I`ve been told by one of your senior members here that the C5 would be my best bet, even over the newer ones??!! Have heard from some of you members from a thread I started and all seem to be really good people, hope to hear from more.

Sweet lookin' cruiser. Have you tried to sell it through GoodGuys or some similar hot rod group. Here locally there is a chapter of the AACA with a lot of members that have hot rod/cruisers. Heck, maybe even here on the forum there may be someone looking.
