Just wanted to say I'm glad to have a place to chat with others that love corvettes as much as I do. I was introduced to and fell in love with corvettes by my brother. I was 15 and he worked at a local Chevy dealership as a mechanic. He would save the vettes to test on Saturday and come by our house and get me. On one of those Saturdays I got to drive. Well, I can tell you I was hooked. Now a "few" years later my husband bought a '69 that needed some tender loving care and we are finnaly able to start work.
Well look at me rambling on and on, I'll shut up now. Just want to say Hello and glad to be here.
Welcome to the Forum!!!!!! Sounds like a good project, hope you enjoy it while in progress and after it's done. Enjoy the C3 Forums.
Sshhh...don't say too much about that experience with your brother. It will fuel the general distrust and hatred toward dealer mechanics who "test drive" Corvettes for no good reason.....and sometimes put on a lot of miles, a lot of wear and tear and occasionally crash. Just kind of keep it to yourself. Okay?
Hi and welcome to the forum Looks like a lot of work but so glad your bringing back another vette. Good luck and hope you and your husband enjoy the project.
