Hello all,
I am a loyal car guy who wants it all. I have a 71 nova that I bought for $800 about 11 years ago. I have built and built and built it, looking towards quick streetability. Every modification was done quickly and then it was back on the road. Long story short, it is still a nearly 40 year old vehicle that likes to go straight and drink gas. I am here to shamelessly steal your vette knowledge. I want to take about $8500 that I have saved and turn it into a quick daily driver that likes to TURN and go straight. Any insight will help.

A C4 would sure fit the description of the kind of car your looking for. With a $8500 price range that would give you a wide range of cars to look at. You can get anything from a car for a few thousand and build it the way you want it, to a nice driver ready to go. Good luck with this project.
