About 6 years ago I did a trade for the Corvette that I currently own . It WAS a beautiful 1984 shiny maroon color. I washed it almost every day, but my ex said that my teenage son was going to drive it. Well you can only imagine what happened! Because I live in the desert, it is very important to maintain your vehicles here due to the sun that eats them alive. Anyways, my son has not maintained this car and has since been driving it to college. After the divorce I was awarded ownership of the Corvette. The paint on it is bad (top of the car) and the seats and carpeting are old. I just want to unload it, but I don't want to be naive about it, so I have come here to get advise. Kelley's Blue Book does not go back that far. Need to find a price that is fair to the buyer and to myself and any other advise you can offer about it. Thanks!
I can't help with your question but I suggest you ask over in C4 General where the members who know those cars the best certainly will. It would probably be helpful if you have some pics to post of the car too.
Here is a tutorial on posting pics if you need it:
Hope you get the answers you need! The C4 section will surely help out. Pictures are the best way to describe the condition of the vette, the more pics, the easier it will be to evaluate the price.
