I don't currently own a Corvette although I am planning on buying one this coming spring or so. Quick story. Back when my daughter was 10 or 11 years old (she is 20 now) she fell in love with yellow Corvettes. She called them banana Corvettes. I promised her back then that if she did well in school, studied hard and always stayed helpful to others that I would take her on a cross country trip in a Corvette convertible. Well this past summer I followed up on her dream. We rented a beautiful red 2008 convertible in Tempe Arizona and drove up past the grand canyon, around in to Utah to Zion National Park, then through Las Vegas over to Santa Clarita California, then down highway one to San Diego, finally returning to Phoenix. All-in-all it was one week of pure heaven on earth with my daughter. Check out the album attached to my profile for three pictures. It was a wonderful experience and made me decide I had to own a C6 convertible. The saving began right then.

Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I looked at your pics - someday I want to drive from Seattle to Zion, Tucson, Phoenix, Santa Fe & back in my Corvette. It sounds like it was a great trip. If you haven't driven a Vette, you haven't driven yet!
The pennies and quarters will add up quickly. Your anticipation will get the best of you and you'll start test driving C6's. Then you'll really be hooked.
