I agree with other posters - honor your parents for such a gift & be careful with it. It is a beautiful car. As I recall when I graduated from H.S. I got a Timex watch from my parents.

Damn! WHATTA CAR!!! I was 18 when I got my 1st vette - a '61 and paid $900 - yeah I know, I know but at that time it was just a used car. Anyway, congrats on your graduation and good luck with the car.

i would like to say thanks again for everyone here. I do honor my parents and thats one of the reason i received this vette. My dad told me i earned it. And for the posts that relate to being safe with this beast, i more than know how much horses are ready to come out to play, but no one has tempted me to race. I would often get some mustangs revvin on me, but i know better. I would only unleash the true power at the track,, and man is that such a rush
