This is like my seventh post ...so I guess I should do a intro ..
I love diving and take at least one good trip a year sometimes two ...I'm into motorcycles "have three" Bigdog Chopper, HD softail custom ,and HD classic... each one of these bikes have there own personality and purpose ... I have had a few hot rods and was into lifted trucks at one point in my life and always wanted a Vette I had just sold A NICE CJ jeep and one of my cars and thought about a sports car ???? so started looking on Ebay and really wanted something different ... a Porsche maybe or Lexus ..had about 25000.00 to play with when I looked at the offerings ...I was dismayed at what you could get for that amount ...A Corvette was out of my league ..or so I thought ...well I scanned the listings for something close "so I could inspect" and this car came up in my search in Maryland...
It was what I was searching for a low mile "25000" C5 I quickly found out this was a FRC and was only made for two years ..it had and only came with the required Six Speed something I wanted ...well the rest is history ..the car was dam near perfect ..I wanted something NOT Black or Red .."done to death and then some" well it turns out it was the first year for the HUD and this car had it and active handling along with just about every option you could get that year /model .. I was hooked ..."the Borla exhaust did not hurt" or the cold air intake ..and lowering etc...
I just loved it and it became a need instead of a want ..crazy cause I'm one of those guys that never make stupid discussions, was I about too ??? well I bought it for $17900.00 looking around I have found others that seemed like better deals but it was too llate this was mine now and after living with this WONDERFUL car for a month ..And after fixing the HVAC "thanks to this forum " I'm in love with driving again ...something that I do lots of because of the job I do .
Anyway great Forum you all have hear ..I'm lucky to be welcomed hear among many like minded Vette owners ... I'm 50 young years of age . Very active a bit wild ..but try to treat people like I like to be treated ... HEARS TO ALL OF YOU Ron Richmond VA
