Hey Guys!

I am looking at getting a 1968-early 70's Stingray (a C3 for sure)

I want to do something similar to Vette70's car (check out his gallery).

I think i'll get something that I can rebuild frame and up, so no worries on color or interior.

Here are my general ideas:

Candy Apple Red, maybe a shade darker, maybe a white stripe
big, 'hot rod' style wheels
whilte/red or black/red interior
custom wood dash
side pipes

Any ideas on what model year is best for this project? What are the pros/cons to the different stingray model years? Again, anything mechanical will probably be replaced!
