newby to the site
Hey guys, newby here... got a 99 C5, love it... it's been in the family for 5 years, bought it off my dad after totaling my Softail Springer (somehow lived through that one). I've been around vettes all my life but never actually owned one, this is my first. Got Borla cat back, intake, and wheels & tires... already wrecked the damn thing but there might have been other things involved, but the outcome is that she's back on the road and my lawyer is 11k richer... ended up braking the read driver ball joint @ 110+ MPH on a 3 lane HWY which sent me into a spin (they say). Some how I didn't touch a wall or anyone else (lucky I guess) however, every thing that involves the rear driver drive train has been replaced and she's great again... paid 12k for her, glass top, w/ extras...
