Just joined a couple of days ago after lurking around for a week.
I turn 50 next year.......aaarrrgghhh.......and am going to get myself a C3 to replace the one I used to own and unfortunately sold some 25 years ago. I've owned over 25 Porsches the last two decades, along with a few Ferrari's, and now I've got the bug again for a Vette. Gonna be looking for something cosmetically original interior/exterior wise, that I can put a 500 HP carbed hydraulic roller motor into along with a Keisler 5 speed........update the diff/suspension, etc, and drive it daily during the good weather.
I used to have a bone stock White/Silver 1974 454 - 4 speed.........and while I am not necessarily looking for either a big block, or even a 74-77 year car, I have decided to study the marketplace first, and probably will end up getting myself a 69-72 small block coupe instead, since prices have become much more realistic (almost cheap) on the "driver condition" chrome bumper cars as of late.
So, hello everyone, and I look forward to getting up to speed on what 25 years has done to the "plastic fantastic" and hopefully I can also contribute as well.
