So I find out Friday that they can't get a transport container unil Monday earliest. Being the impatient man-child I am, I called my buddy goat and we hit the road. We were at the dealer at 9 on the dot yesterday and by 5:30 we were in my driveway 570 miles away, including two gas stops and an Arby's lunch. Averaged 21MPG doing break in style driving..

So my first order of business is going to be an oil change to get the break in trip oil out of there, then to get the swirl marks that a year on a dealer lot somehow brings.. Other than that the paint is in pretty good shape - low orange peel quotient. I don't know how I am going to have time for family, work, sleep now..
