Congrats from Edmonton, don't forget to wave when you pass me! LOL. I have a '03 triple black vert with a very distinctive body and black out kit, otherwise stock. Happy there is another Vette owner here in the frozen tundra wasteland. Merry Christmas, Rob
PS. will be watching your postings
Right on another local, I'm getting the motor built in January and looks like either Campbells or Horsepower Solutions is doing it. They both tell me that 500RWHP is going to happen. Well if you see my licence plate you'll know it
's me this next spring. Are you part of the local Corvette group ?
Merry Christmas, thanks again to all the Welcomer's.

What displacement are they building? Sounds like you will be having a lot of fun next year

We were going to use the stock bottom end LS1 but now I might do a stroker kit and build some crazy power. A friend is trying to talk me into running a n2o kit but I run one on my 52 Chev with a 383 stroker and hate filling up bottles.
Stock bottom end LS1 will have trouble reaching 500 rwhp and still be streatable. Most H/C/I LS1s get around 430 ~ 460 rwhp depending on head and cam selection. It is possible with spray to get 500 though, but bottles are a pain like you said!
Anyway, I am curious about your build, so keep me posted I am just finishing my LS1 build for my 99 Camaro SS and will let you know what numbers my car makes when I get it to a dyno. I put H/C/I on my LS1, if you want details, feel free to ask
Good luck with your Corvette! Hopefully there will be some summer shows around Alberta I can make it to next year.

For sure keep me posted on your Camaro #'s as well, from what i have been told the Trick Flow 225 heads, the Fast LSX 92 intake and some custom grind cam is near the #'s was looking for. Well see, might turn into a stroker. I built the 383 stroker for my 52 w/150 shot of nos as well, only used the spray once it scared the he!! outta me. My 52 only weights in at 3300lb and it started dancing all of the road. Here is a picture of it.
Doesn't help with the pizza cutters on the back, funny enough they just barely fit in there without having to cut the inner fenders.
I know you can get 500 rwhp out of a stock bottom end LS1, but streetability goes completely away...all depends on your purpose for your car. Stroker is the best plan to get that much power and still have it steetable.
Those TrickFlows are nice heads....and the FAST 92 flows really well...but there lies the trade-off for stock bottom end LS1s - high HP numbers or a good torque curve??
I say stroker!!
My next build will be a 427 or bigger LSx motor, just not sure which car it will go in (63 GrandSport replica is the ideal plan )
