I joined this forum in hopes of learning more about c5/c6 corvettes before I made a purchase.
I have always loved corvettes.... I used to go to the Kruze auctions with my father who would buy a different vette each time we went.. and also owned a number of late model (at the time) vettes... c4 and c5.
I am an avid car lover. I have owned a number of performance automobiles including '65 1/2 factory s/c mustang, 88 iroc, 08 gt500, 90ish NSX and my current project a 06 Chrysler 300c which has H/C/I and has been cmr tuned by Lafrad via diablo predator with shorty heads, hi-flow cats and cat-back (LM II).
I have gone the mod route many times and it hurts the pocket book... so I'm looking for a modified c5/c6 vette that has been done right. No point getting a 700rwhp car if the tranny can't take it.
I am also looking for a daily driver... I don't believe in garage/trailer queens and it pains me to see cars not used.
Preferred car is a 02-04 z06 black/black 6 speed with safe power mods whether it be properly tuned f/i or h/c/i with a lopey cam with enough torque for a DD.
