Default Newbie from Utah

Hello,
I just purchased a 2007 Coupe, 6-speed, Z51, 3LT, Monterey Red with 9K miles on it. The car is currently stock. I am retired and this is a late retirement gift to myself. I plan on keeping the car stock except for a set of Magnaflow 14335 mufflers. This is my second Corvette. In the early 80's I bought a '64 Fastback. It had a 350 with FI heads and the factory close ratio 4-speed. It was Daytona Blue. Like an idiot I later sold it to buy a boat. I am also a member of Cuda/Challenger.com as I am in the process of restoring a 1970 numbers matching 440, 4-speed 'Cuda. However, that is a slow process and the finished product is probably 3-5 years away, thus the '07 'Vette. Like I told my wife, I need something fun to drive now. I may not live to long enough to drive the 'Cuda. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hanging with this forum's members and exchanging info.

Brad

Welcome to the forum. I agree with your reasoning. I am in the process of restoring a 69 coupe with a frame off that will as well take another 2-3 years to complete. I also went to my wife with the rational that I needed something to drive during the restore so I bought a 71 coupe as a driver. Good luck with your project and have fun with your driver!!!

Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your C6!! There is a lot to learn about these cars. Hang out in C6 General as much as you can. Enjoy the car and the Forums.

I'm a Mopar guy too. Let me know if you get tired of your 'Cuda project.

Well it's obviously taken me a while but I finally figured out how to post pictures to this forum. Here's my '07.

Since these pics were taken I've added GM Splash guards and a K&N air filter.

Well maybe I don't have it completely figured out. Only two pics posted of the five. I'll try again. [IMG][/IMG]
