74 corvette replacement bumpers
My name is Mark Sherman. I have owned this car from new. It has 7,000 original miles. The car has been in dry covered storage for the past 7 to 8 years. The bumpers both front and rear have cracked and are breaking apart. I wanted to replace these with the original. The back are 2 piece. They are still in place on the car. The questions I have are: should I not replace these, because the car is totally original. The license plate frames are still in plastic from the factory. The paint has never been touched and is still amazing in luster. If I do replace these, a recommended source for the bumpers and the type of paint to use would be very helpful. The last question I have, how hard are these cover to remove. I was hoping to do it myself, so the car would not have to go to a paint shop. I have access to a drive on lift. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
