Hello everyone, my name is Rob. I am currnetly in the army, and am looking into purchasing a C5 Z06. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly knowlegable about cars, but not so well schooled in corvettes.

Welcome Rob, thanks for your service. You are looking at a great car at a great price. I don't think that a C5 Z06 can be beat as far as "bang for the buck" I've seen several with 50-60K miles for under 20K.

i was figuring about $20,000 for the Z... only problem is that It's gonna take me about 3 years to save up the cash for it, which actually isn't so bad considering that i wont be driving for the next 3 years. I'm shipping out to korea tomorrow morning, my wife will be following me in about a month... assuming that all goes well with the paperwork to get the approval to get her over there.
